I’m not talking about doing the limbo here but after following my recent experience with stronglifts I started to ask myself, when squatting with a weighted barbell, am I really going far enough? How far is too far?
Well, as ever that appears to depend. There’s a lot of contradictory information out there, especially online. If it’s weighted then as low as is comfortable for you. When it’s body weight as low as you can or even ‘ass to grass’ if you can make it. Apparently, it does also depend on your physiology and hip flexibility which can also be based on where you’re from in the world. So, most of all: it turns out it’s up to you. Your personal endurance and preference is your limit.
